Now that we are in the summer months, the City wants to remind residents that all property owners shall be responsible for the removal, cutting, or disposal and elimination of weeds, grasses and uncontrolled plant growth on their property.
Any grass, weeds, or other vegetation must be cut before they exceed 6 inches in height; or they will be in violation of the City’s nuisance ordinance.

Lutheran Social Services will be offering free, healthy meals in bundles of 10 to Minnesota Residents that are 60 and older on June 8th between 12:30pm-1:30pm at the Senior Center located at 538 Rhinehart Dr SE using the back alley drive-thru.

East Grand Forks Water and Light has started a water meter replacement project. This project is necessary as the majority of the utility's water meters are at the end of their expected lifespan.
The meters need to be changed to ensure accurate measurement and will also bring the utility to the latest technology in meter reading. Water and Light has contracted with Keystone Utility Services to coordinate and perform the meter replacement...
