Now that we are in the summer months, the City wants to remind residents that all property owners shall be responsible for the removal, cutting, or disposal and elimination of weeds, grasses and uncontrolled plant growth on their property.
Any grass, weeds, or other vegetation must be cut before they exceed 6 inches in height; or they will be in violation of the City’s nuisance ordinance.
Residents must keep in mind that this includes all grass, weeds and vegetation on their property, including: easements, alleys and areas between your fence and alley, street Right-of-ways and berms, and areas along or near sidewalks that would obstruct sight or transportation. Please help the City of East Grand Forks keep the community maintained and beautiful this summer!
